The Maxville estate Cabernet Franc shows how well this varietal can taste on its own. Often used with cabernet sauvignon and merlot to make a Bordeaux blend, cabernet franc adds peppery notes and brightness. This version is rich and opulent with vanilla and raspberry and best enjoyed with food.
